Adding A Blue Star Flower To Your Yard
Adding a Blue Star Flower to your garden can be a wonderful way to add some calming color to your yard. .
Flowers come in every shade of blue and purple that can be planted to enhance your garden. Planted alone or with other colored flowers, the plants look great!
When planting your Blue Star Flower be sure to get instructions for the care and maintenance of the plant. Some plants thrive in the shade where others require full sun so it is important to buy plants that are appropriate for where you are going to plant them. A sun loving plant that is expected to grow in the shade will only turn out to be a disappointment.
Be sure you water and fertilize your Blue Star Flower according to the instructions that came with the flower and you will be rewarded with big luscious blooms. Don’t forget to pinch off the dead flowers and care for perennials at the end of the season as recommended.
Other things to think about when planting your Blue Star Flower plant include:
Bloom Time – what timeframe the plant will flower in – planting flowers in the same areas that have different blooming times will insure a succession of blooms throughout the growing season.
Height – plant taller flowers in back and shorter ones in front to give your garden a more cultured look
Consider these other blue and purple flowers for your garden:
