Adding A Blue Moon Flower To Your Garden

Adding the Blue Moon Flower to your yard can be a wonderful way to add color to your garden. .

Flowers from blue to purple are widely available for your gardening delight. Plant them in a cluster of all blue type plants or mix them in with other colors for a rainbow of beauty.

When planting your Blue Moon Flower be sure to get instructions for the care and maintenance of the plant. It is important to buy plants that are appropriate for the area in which they will be planted – not all flowers will grow in the full sun. A sun loving flower will not grow to a lush full plant if it is planted in the shade.

During the growing season, take care to water and fertilize your Blue Moon Flower according to the directions supplied at your garden shop and you will be sure to have big beautiful flowers. Pinching off the dead flowers will help your plant to grow fuller.

Some other considerations when planting your Blue Moon Flower plant include:

  • Flowering Times – try to plant flowers that bloom at different times near each other. This way, you’ll have continuous blooms in your garden all year.
  • Size – arrange your garden so that taller plants are in the back and shorter ones in the front.
